Lisa Denyer [ - Present ]

Lisa Denyer is a painter based in Manchester and Berlin.

Denyer’s work is experimental, intuitive; the sculptural language of her painting explores assemblage and materiality.  Denyer’s work explores the polarities of a slow, considered painting process against the speed and sensory perceptions of daily life.

Lisa Denyer graduated from Coventry University in 2009 with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art. In 2015 she received first prize in the PS Mirabel Open. In 2010 she received second prize in the Gilchrist Fisher Award, held at Rebecca Hossack Gallery, London. Her work has been widely exhibited in galleries across the world, including Castlefield Gallery; Manchester, SE9 Container Gallery; London, Kir Royal Gallery: Madrid, and Yantai Art Museum, China.
